Product Specification Selections:
Product Specification Selections:
· Integral – This option utilizes the aluminum Busway housing as a ground path and is rated at 50% current rating.
· 50% Internal – This option is a separate internal ground bar and is rated at 50% current rating. Square D cannot provide an internal ground bar; they only offer an integral housing ground. Use integral ground if quoting against Square D.
· 50% Internal/Isolated - This option is a separate internal ground bar and is rated at 50% current rating and is insulated. Both Square D and GE cannot provide this option. Use integral ground if quoting against Square D and GE.
· 100% Ground – This option is a combination of the 50% housing ground and 50% internal ground. Both Square D and GE cannot provide this option. Use integral ground if quoting against Square D and GE.
· 400 Hz – Selecting 400Hz requires de-rating of the Busway. Please price the next highest current rating. For example, if 1000A Busway is specified, you will need to price 1200A Busway.
· 200% Neutral – This option is a single ½ inch neutral bar rated at 200% current rating. Both Square D and GE cannot provide this option. Use 100% neutral if quoting against Square D and GE. Siemens uses two ¼ inch bars to provide a 200% neutral.
· Lead Time – Non-Standard Lead Times must be approved by plant prior to order entry. Lead Time days do not begin until product line receives Vista release.
· Seismic Rated – This option will label each item as seismic rated. Seismic rated hangers must be used for this option.
· DTI Smart Bolt – Tension-indicating bolt to ensure that the proper compression force is achieved within the bridge joint. No special tools or equipment are required to torque down the joint bolt.
· Maximum Length Limitation – The default option is 10’ of maximum duct length. This selection is to indicate if installation, location or assembly factors impact duct length to be below the 10’ standard. If so, at point of order entry the maximum allowable piece length must be specified. For example if 6’ is selected the run will be completed limiting pieces to this value or shorter.
· Sprinkler Proof – This option applies only to indoor plug-in Busway. Sprinkler proof plug-in Busway may not be applied outdoors.
· Busway (Feeder) – When manually creating a LV Bus product configuration, input the total point-to-point footage of the run being priced. Plug-in is indoor rated only, and can only be priced in even footages.
· Busway (Plug-In) – Plug-in is indoor rated only, and can only be priced in even footages. When manually creating a LV Bus product configuration, select the Plug-In length and appropriate quantities of each Plug-In length.
· Weatherhead – This fitting is used as a cable termination to transformers. Conduit may not be used with this device.
· Corner Joint Elbow – This item is for indoor use only.
· Traditional Elbow – This fitting is used for outdoor Busway and where corner joint elbows will not work.
· Special Degree Elbow – This option is for traditional elbows at angles greater than 90 degrees. Call the factory for angles less than 90 degrees.
· Special Flange – This fitting is used when the phase-to-phase separation required is anything other than the standard. Typically used for termination to special equipment.
· Vault Flange – This fitting is used for utility terminations inside the utility transformer vault. They are manufactured per utility specifications.
· Expansion Joint – This fitting is recommended for use every 300 feet, or at building expansion joints.
· One 3-Phase Tap – This fitting is used to cable connect Busway to the bushings of a 3-phase transformer.
· Three 1-Phase Tap - This fitting is used to cable connect Busway to the bushings of three single phase transformers.
· Transformer Throat – This fitting is used to bus connect to the spades of a three phase liquid-filled transformer.
· Built-in – This special connection allows you to bolt on a bus plug to the side of a feeder Busway. This is rated up to 1200A.
· Bridge Joint – This special connection allows a bolt-on provision to be used at the bridge joint. This is rated up to 1000A.
· This fitting is used to reduce the ampere rating of the Busway at some point in the run. If “No Overcurrent Protection” is selected, it must be applied per NEC section 364-11.
· After a reducer is chosen, the footage of the type of Busway after the reducer and quantities of all fittings and accessories must be selected.
· Wall/Floor Flanges – This fitting is used to help close off the gap around the Busway when passing through a floor or wall. Please price 2 for a wall and 1 for a floor.
· Vertical Hangers – Please price one for every floor the Busway passes through, or every 16 feet if rising up a shaft.
Accessories – Other:
· Infrared Joint Cover – UL and CSA certified. Latched hinged door covering IR viewing window, allowing for more accurate temperature readings when thermal scanning joints. Covers can be installed on one side, or both sides of a joint. Can be installed on existing PRWIII installations (select under “Accessories” Tab – Indoor – Accessories Other - IR Window Bridge Joint Cover). Indoor use only.
